Brief:
To enhance the garden following renovations to the house including a large extension and incorporate a new swim pool and key water feature.
Project:
The garden would transition from the new up by the house, to the old as you move down the garden.
The modern area up by the house would include wood effect porcelain paving near the modern kitchen diner and swim spa.
A traditional timber balustrade and oak handrail marks the change to the lower level and sandstone paving at lawn level leading on to the bottom of the garden where a natural stone water rill with lost pool gives the impression of a natural spring.
To properly complete the garden we added modern trellis fencing by the swim spa, a beautiful new lawn, new borders which were planted with large pot sized mature plants for an instant look.
